The Alliance

A Model for Scotland is an alliance of survivors, organisations and frontline service providers calling for a progressive legal model to combat commercial sexual exploitation in Scotland. 

​

​The alliance is made up of a wide range of organisations that share the belief that commercial sexual exploitation must be ended. A feminist and human-rights based analysis of the sex trade is central to this. Mutual membership of the alliance does not mean that organisations share views on other issues.

Angus Violence Against Women Partnership

The Angus Violence Against Women Partnership (AVAWP) is a multi-agency partnership dedicated to tackling all forms of violence against women and girls in Angus.

Encompass

Encompass is Scotland's network supporting those involved in the sex industry.  Encompass is a network of Scottish agencies working with people at risk of, currently involved in or who have exited selling or exchanging sexual activity / commercial sexual exploitation.

ASSIST

ASSIST is a free specialist domestic abuse advocacy and support service focused on reducing risk, increasing safety and improving the wellbeing of domestic abuse victims.

Equally Safe Edinburgh Committee

The Equally Safe Edinburgh Committee is a partnership between organisations which work to put into practice the Scottish Government’s Equally Safe Strategy across Edinburgh. Members include senior staff members from both statutory and voluntary sector organisations.

SAY Women offers safe semi-supported accommodation and emotional support for young women aged 16 to 25 who are survivors of sexual abuse, rape or sexual assault and who are homeless, or threatened with homelessness.

Cross-Party Group on Commercial Sexual Exploitation
